Hardback oblong quarto, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), black & white & colour reproductions (most full-page), black & white frontispiece portrait, minor edgewear jacket (tiny dent front cover). 96 pp. Henry Fullwood’s war paintings (WW1) are described in detail, assessed, and re-evaluated the artist’s whole achievement. He was a friend of Arthur Streeton and Tom Roberts and is nearly as well known. He was also a prolific and popular illustrator and printmaker. In 1918 the Australian Government choose him as one of its first official war artists.
