Hardcover. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original clipped jacket. The Dust jacket has faults – namely edge/shelf wear, a few small (approx. 5mms) tears, a little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), the odd crease/rub to edges, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, little fading to spine, the odd small mark, rubbing/few scratches to spine, pushing/bumping to corners, a little patchy loss to top (picture) surface, browning to reverse (white side) and is in only good condition. The boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with light crease to the spine (the book has been read), very minor pushing/bumping to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to the head/tail of the spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. The pages bit tanned. No other faults.

A good reading copy.

Now in a protective plastic cover to prevent further damage.
