Rags the Ragdoll is a rhyming storybook, sweetly illustrated by Fern Bisel Peat. You can join Rags in the nursery as she bumps and flops through many ragdoll adventures. This picture book is recommended for small children, as well as collectors who love Fern Bisel Peat’s famous illustrations. Ms Peat is noted for her years of artwork done for the children’s magazine, Children’s Playmate which almost always included a paper doll. She painted dozens of covers and interior illustrations as well for this publication.

A circa 1920s softcover copy with full-colour plates throughout and a few lines of text at the bottom of each page. The book has a pencil inscription on the top right-hand corner of the front cover and the edges of both the front, back cover and spine are rubbed and creased. The book has toning and foxing throughout. The colour plates are bright and clean and the text is clear and legible. Published by The Salalfield Pub.Co and itemised as No.650. in a series.
