Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren


The book focuses on the experiences of Pippi Långstrump, a nine-year-old pigtailed redhead whose mother died when she was a baby and her father, a sea captain, has seemingly vanished at sea, so she moves into a big house known as Villa Villekulla, located in a little Swedish village, with her pet monkey Mr. Nilsson.

A  hardcover edition with clipped dust jacket with has a protective clear plastic cover. The pale blue coloured cover has red lettering and title and there is an inscription on the front endpaper. The book has foxing, toning and fading throughout but the text and black and white drawings are clear and legible.
