This is the autobiography of Tenzing Norgay, the sherpa mountaineer who, with Edmund Hillary, became the first to climb the world’s highest mountain, Everest, in May 1953, as he told it to the author shortly after the epic climb.

Ullman handles the biography with sensitivity, fully developing the character of a humble man who almost overnight became internationally famous for his achievement in the mountains of his far-off homeland.

The signature is not verified however, Tenzing signature in our research was in all different positions on the dedication page.
