Roly Parks lives in Kalangadoo, a small town in the South East of South Australia.

Each week, Roly writes a letter to his son Gene, who lives in London with his partner Ahmed, a Moroccan ballet dancer who was formerly with the Royal Ballet.

They have been broadcast nationally for 25 years. The letters are humorous and deeply touching and is quintessential Australian storytelling by one of Australia’s most acclaimed satirists.
