Horsemastership by Margaret Cabell Self

$50.00

“Combining her years of personal experience in teaching riding and training horses, with her study of all the writings on the subject from earliest times to the present, Mrs. Self here sets down all the fundamental principles which must be taught and all the ways and methods of teaching them.”

The book focuses on teaching children to ride, individually and in groups. The detailed diagrams are excellent in showing how to progress to very advanced exercises. She debunks with total logic, the faddish ways of riding, telling why they are ineffective. Even experienced horseman will find plenty of new material and ideas from this dedicated riding instructor.
