Furred Animals of Australia is a general reference book, first published in 1931, that gives accounts of Australian mammals, the continent’s often unique marsupial and placental mammal fauna. The text and research for the book were undertaken by the mammologist and museum curator Ellis Le Geyt Troughton.

A maroon cloth cover hardback edition with gilt lettering and clipped dust jacket. The dust cover is torn and has rubbing along the edges and some fading. The book’s interior has some foxing and toning but the text and colour plates are clean and legible.
Now in a protective plastic cover to prevent further damage.
