Escape to Freedom by Hon T.C.F. Prittie (MBE) and Captain W. Earle Edwards (Mbe.T.D)

The authors of this book made between them no less than eight remarkable attempts at escape from German prisoner-of-war camps. The courage, ingenuity and resourcefulness revealed in this book are in every way amazing, and the adventures involved in the escapes are so vividly and intimately described that the reader is kept in a perpetual state of excitement and suspense. In addition to the stories of the escapes the book contains the best and most human accounts of life in prisoner-of-war camps in the Second World War.
