Big Red by Jim Elgard

A hardcover copy with clipped illustrated dust jacket, mottled cloth boards, and red lettering. There is foxing, particularly to the front pages edges of the book. There is some toning throughout but the text and black-and-white sketches are clear and legible. There is a previous seller’s paper label on the inside front board and a blue ink stamp on the inside front page and also on the title page. There is an ink dedication on the page opposite the title page. There is some rubbing to the edges of the dust jacket and some small tearing to the top edge of the spine of the dust cover. However, the DJ was kept in tissue paper and the colours are just beautiful, strong and vibrant. A truly wonderful book cover  See photos.
