A hardcover copy with brown cloth boards and gilt lettering. An ex – library copy with library stamp on numerous pages and also on the inside boards. There are pen inscriptions and annotations throughout and the front inside page is detached. The spine is loose and there is toning and foxing throughout but the text and illustrations are clear and legible.The book’s edges are rubbed and there are marks on the boards and a library mark on the spine. The edges are deckle or untrimmed.
