A hardcover edition with illustrated boards and unclipped, illustrated dust cover. There is toning and foxing throughout but the text, black and white and sepia photographs and drawings are clear and legible. The dust cover has some rubbing to the edges and tearing to the spine. There is also a tear to the back edge of the dust jacket. There is a gilt finish to the top edge of the book and the bottom and front edges are uncut. There is a previous owner’s ink inscription on the inside front page.
Now in a clear, removable cover to protect from damage.
