Arthur Evelyn St. John Waugh was an English writer of novels, biographies, and travel books; he was also a prolific journalist and book reviewer. His most famous works include the early satires Decline and Fall and A Handful of Dust, the novel Brideshead Revisited, and the Second World War trilogy Sword of Honour.

A hard cover edition with blue boards, silver lettering and clipped dust cover. There is some foxing and toning throughout but the text and black and white photographs are clear and legible. There is a previous sellers label on the inside front board. There is rubbing to the edges of the cover and fading. The dust jacket has tearing to the edges with a piece missing at the bottom edge of the spine. Now in a clear plastic cover to protect from damage.
