A hard cover copy with navy blue illustrated boards and gilt lettering and embossing. There is water damage to the spine with some discolouration and warping.There is some discolouration to the right hand lower section of the back board of the book. There is foxing and toning throughout but the text, black and white and colour illustrations, drawings, and maps are clear and legible. There is a black ink inscription on the inside front board. There is a previous owners paper label on the inside front board.
