Description

A hardcover edition, with clipped dust jacket, black cloth boards and gilt lettering. There is foxing and toning throughout but the text is clear and legible. There is a dent on the top left-hand corner of the front board. The dust cover has tearing, rubbing and some water staining. A fair copy of a special book.

Unfortunately, this is not one of the editions that have the embossed golden gun on the covered boards.

First published in 1965 by Jonathan Cape, London.
