Christopher Hibbert MC was an English author, historian and biographer. He has been called “a pearl of biographers” and “probably the most widely-read popular historian of our time and undoubtedly one of the most prolific”.

A hardcover edition with brown boards, gilt lettering and clipped, illustrated dust jacket. There is foxing and toning throughout but the text and black-and-white photographs and drawings are clear and legible. There is some rubbing and a small tear on the edge of the dust cover. All in all a good copy.
Now in a clear plastic cover to protect from damage.
