Description

A hardcover edition with red boards, gilt lettering and unclipped dust jacket. There is some rubbing to the edges of the book and the dust jacket has rubbing, toning, foxing and some small edge tears. There is an ink inscription on the front inside page and there is foxing and toning throughout the book but the text is clear and legible.

The third impression published in  October 1953 by Micheal Joseph LTD,  London.

Now in a protective plastic cover to prevent further damage.
