William Cuthbert Faulkner was a Nobel Prize-winning American novelist and short story writer. One of the most influential writers of the twentieth century, his reputation is based mostly on his novels, novellas, and short stories. He was also a published poet and an occasional screenwriter. Professor Collins has collected 16 poems and 18 pen and ink drawings and several prose pieces in this edition.

A hardcover 1963 edition with green cloth cover, gilt lettering and clipped dust jacket. There is a previous seller’s stamp on the inside front page along with an ink inscription also on the page. There is foxing and toning throughout but the text and black and white illustration are clear and legible. The cloth cover and dust cover have some rubbing.
