First edition, first printing, of this colourful pop-up book based on the 1984 David Lynch film of the same name. The pop-up scenes comprise “Farewell to Caladan”, a panorama of the home planet of House Atreides; “Baron Harkonnen’s Plot”; “The Great Battle” complete with sandworm; and “Peace at Last”. Oblong octavo. Original pictorial boards lettered in blue and white, four double-page pop-up spreads depicting scenes from the 1984 film.
When the Atreides family is banished to the desert planet of Dune, they are forced to battle an evil Emperor. Features punch-out characters and vehicles to reenact scenes that pop up as the pages are turned. Dune is a trademark of the Dino DeLaurentis Corporation and licensed by Merchandising Corporation of America.

Features punch-out characters and vehicles to reenact scenes that pop up as the pages are turned. These appear to be in working order. However, Four of the punch-out characters are missing, there is foxing throughout the book and some toning.
There is some rubbing to the top and bottom edges of the book and the spine has a tear to the back, top right-hand side.
