The Archimedes of the title is a dog, an old red setter who has learnt to read and who philosophises about the world. In particular, he is fascinated by seagulls, and one in particular, who appears to soar like an eagle, hence the “seagle”.

A hard cover edition with light blue boards, white and navy blue lettering and unclipped dust jacket. There is some foxing mainly to the edges of the book. The boards have some rubbing also to the edges. There is a blue pen inscription to the inside front page.
