Ada by Vladimir Nabokov

Ada is presented (playfully) as the memoir of Dr. Ivan Veen, psychologist, professor of philosophy and student of time, who chronicles his illicit life-long love for his first cousin, later to be discovered sister, Ada Veen. It takes place in a mostly imaginative though usually recognisable world.

Out of stock

A hard cover edition with red cloth boards, gilt lettering and clipped, illustrated, dust cover. There is some foxing and toning throughout but the text is clear and legible. There is some slight discolouration to the edges of the book. The dust jacket has fading to the spine and rubbing and tearing along the top and bottom edges. Now in a clear, removable cover to protect from damage.

Publisher: Weidenfeld and Nicolson, London.

Publication Date: 1969.
